Tuesday – Rest

Wednesday – 15 mile cycle + strength

Thursday4 mile run + strength

Friday4 mile run

Saturday – 8 mile run

Sunday – 4 mile run + strength


Running total  – 20 miles

Cycling total – 15 miles

Strength training – three

Interval sessions – zero


So this definitely wasn’t my finest week. It started out with all fun and no run for Matthew’s birthday, compounded by bad weather on Tuesday. I did some nice runs in France (one in particular which I’ll write about this week!) and did some variations of my strength exercises too.

Overall though, this week has been a bit indulgent and I haven’t done enough exercise to make up for that. Still, birthdays and holidays don’t come around that often, and what’s done is done. The week ahead has fewer obstacles so hopefully I can make some real progress. There’s definitely room for improvement….
