Despite it being a very busy week, it actually wasn’t a complete write-off. After a few decent nights’ sleep I was back on form, and still able to do a decent-length run at the weekend.

My plan for the week ahead is to go along to City Runners – a free and incredibly-sociable looking running club near my work. I’ve been meaning to do this for quite literally years, but watching the London Marathon yesterday made me realise how much I want to do more races. I think having the support of other runners – both in training and during the run – would make a big difference to me – so we’ll see how it goes!
