I am pleased I did two runs which pushed me out my comfort zone. I am really not keen on running fast and find it so hard to judge my speed. I now think I need to do more treadmill work, as this ensures you run at the right pace and makes running intervals so much easier (to control….not to actually do). I cannot believe I did 0.5 miles at 7.03 pace. I didn’t even throw up or anything.
Sadly, a week of decent running is marred by a weekend of absolute indulgence in Bordeaux. We always knew this would be the way, but this week will be one of recovery. I have a few runs planned during the week, plus a weekend in Manchester for a new running route.
This week, I give myself an A for exercise, but a D for overall achievement. So we’ll settle on….
