Run Every Day – Day 2

After last Thursday night’s 10 mile run, I was worn out and went to bed at 9.30pm. Fortunately this made today’s 6am alarm redundant, as I woke up at 5.30am. I don’t think this is jet lag now; just the natural outcome of going to bed super early.

Anyway, on Friday I opted to run into work. This naturally meant going the most direct (deeply boring) route: 7.6 miles. I felt like hopping on the Tube almost the entire way and several times came very close. The only reason was laziness though. Nothing hurt. I’d had a decent pasta dinner the night before, and then two Shredded Wheat for breakfast. I’d slept well. I wasn’t even out of breath. But mentally, I was feeling it.

Fortunately, it was a lovely cool crisp morning. I bloody love autumn.



Hmmm, okay so this photo doesn’t look that crisp. Very pretty though, and most unlike London so I thought I’d share. I wore my thick gloves, and they were 100% needed.



And I made it without resorting to public transport. Hurrah!


Now onto much more enjoyable weekend fun. *Reaches for corkscrew*.
